Celebration High Students Earn First Place In Florida State Spanish Conference

First Place Trophy Stock PhotoCelebration High’s foreign language students won first place in their category at this year’s Florida State Spanish Conference. This is the first time that Celebration High participated in this event, achieving what many schools have not done after years of participation. The following students were evaluated on impromptu speech, poetry, and drama, reaching the highest level in all categories:
 
Cristian Machado (AP Spanish), Emily Alvarado (IB), Richard Rivero (AP Spanish), Ava Burner (IB), Claudia Guerrero (AP Spanish), Fabiana Alcalá (AP Spanish), Carla Chacín (AP Spanish), Raymir Briceño (AP Spanish), Luisa Cremonesi (Spanish 1), Zoemar Lebrón (AP Spanish), Raylind Padilla (AP Spanish), Luis Cunha (IB), Julia Burner (IB), María Vásquez (IB), and Fernando Chaves (AP Spanish).
 
Celebration High also won first place in the Regional Dress category and best song interpretation at the conference.
