We offer dual-language VPK, kicking off our youngest learners’ journey toward becoming bilingual and biliterate. Our dual language program in the primary grades drives academic success and gives our students the tools to excel in both English and Spanish! With a deep commitment to supporting our students and their families, we offer a Welcome Center that helps newcomers navigate their transition to a new country. We are also proud to be home to Benny's Bodega, a food pantry that we offer to all families at Kissimmee Elementary. Kissimmee Elementary has proudly served our community for over 24 years, and we’d love for you to join our Bear Cub family. Call (407-935-3640) to learn more!

Principal’s Message
Kissimmee Bear Cubs!
Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year. As your principal, I am excited to work together to ensure a year of learning, growth, and community.
This school year, our KMES Bear Cubs will show that they will “Be the Star in your Journey to Success”. Through building on strengths and new opportunities, students’ learning will be enhanced through our I DO (Innovation via Diversity and Opportunity) programs where each grade level has different potential careers to explore.
Kissimmee Elementary is proud to be a Dual Language school which is an educational model that promotes high academic achievement while supporting second language development and cross-cultural understanding for all students.
Working cohesively with parents, staff, and community members will ensure your child’s success. We encourage the engagement of our school community, participation in events, and communicating with our educators to create a support system that empowers our students.
If you have a question or concern, please reach out to me at 407-935-3640 or Elizabeth.Terry@osceolaschools.net
Sincerely,
Elizabeth Terry
As a Choice District, we allow parents to select the school they want their children to attend, as long as that school has capacity and program availability.
Each one of our public schools has a full-time sworn law enforcement officer serving as a School Resource Officer on campus every day.
Our students have highly-qualified, certified teachers who provide engaging, relevant, and rigorous instruction.
We offer a rigorous curriculum and systems of support, complete with college preparatory and career and technical education paths to meet the needs of every student
Students have the opportunity to take high school credit courses in middle school and to earn college/postsecondary credit at no cost to parents while still in high school.
We offer courses that allow students to explore career interests, master workplace competencies, gain employable skills, and earn industry certifications and licensing upon graduation
