Top 10 Banner ImageThe field of nominees for both the Osceola School District's top employee awards -- "Teacher of the Year" and "School-Related Employee of the Year" -- has been narrowed down to the top ten finalists in each category.

The following educators have been named as the top ten finalists for Osceola School District's 2018 "Teacher of the Year" Award:

Randa Nicholson, Math and Science Coach - Cypress Elementary
Jessica Priester, Title I Intervention Teacher- East Lake Elementary
Elfie Salisbury, Math Teacher - Horizon Middle
John Saslofsky, Fifth Grade - Hickory Tree Elementary
Brittany Solarek, Fourth Grade Teacher - Flora Ridge Elementary
Jennifer Woollet, Fifth Grade Teacher - Neptune Elementary

The following employees have been named as the top ten finalists for Osceola School District's 2017 "School-Related Employee of the Year" Award:

Judges selected the finalists based on their applications. Each finalist was surprised at their work location by Superintendent Dr. Debra Pace to announce their finalist standing. The names of Osceola County's 2018 "Teacher of the Year" and Osceola County's 2017 "School-Related Employee of the Year" will be announced at a ceremony hosted by the Education Foundation - Osceola on March 23, 2017, at Osceola Heritage Park.
