Osceola School District To Hold Job Fair

Job Fair BannerThe Osceola School District will be holding a Job Fair for individuals interested in becoming School Bus Drivers, Food Service Assistants, Custodians, and Maintenance personnel on Wednesday, June 28, during two sessions from 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the district’s Transportation Department (Main Facility), located at 401 Simpson Road in Kissimmee. Interested individuals may pre-apply online by clicking HERE.

School district staff will be available at the event to assist with the completion of the online application, conduct on-the-spot interviews, and explain the training and hiring processes.
 
Osceola's School Bus Drivers enjoy flexible hours, on-the-job training for a class “B” CDL, benefits after the completion of a probationary period, and a starting rate of pay of $11.18 an hour. While no experience is necessary, the minimum requirements for the position are as follows: must be 21 years of age or older, have five years of licensed driving, and have a good driving record with no traffic violations within the past three years.

Osceola School District Food Service Assistants start at $9.49 per hour, and Custodians start at $10.98 per hour. No prior experience is necessary for either position as on-the-job training is available. The ability to lift 50 pounds and to work night shift are requirements for custodians.
