Dual Enrollment

Dual Enrollment is an opportunity for high school students to earn both high school and college credit at the same time.  And it is all FREE!!  Students who are dually enrolled can only take classes part-time at the University of Florida.  Please see your school counselor at the high school to coordinate your schedule and to make sure you meet all of your high school requirements.

Admissions Requirements

  • Applicants must be high school students with Junior or Senior status.
  • Applicants must maintain a 3.6 unweighted high school Grade Point Average

Once accepted as a UF DE student, each student meets with an academic advisor to help them decide if that class is right for them and their academic goals - having a few in mind is helpful.

The UF DE Academic Advisor is as follows:
Litza F. Echeverria Rubio, Ed. S.
Dual Enrollment Student Services Coordinator
University of Florida
352.273.4155

IMPORTANT: Students who earn a "C" grade or lower in any one dual enrollment course, will not be allowed to continue participating in the dual enrollment program.
