The Grant Management Office provides, as a collaborative effort, support services to aid the School District of Osceola County, Florida staff members in the acquisition of grants from Federal, State, and private sources. In order to provide the best educational opportunities for students of Osceola County, and inspire them to their highest potential, the Grant Management Office aims to seek as many sources of revenue as possible. To ensure coordination and to avoid duplication in developing grant proposals, the Grant Management Office serves as the district's clearinghouse for grant application support and submission.

The Grant Management Office devotes the unique talents of its "team" to supporting district staff members with their grant endeavors. GM coordinates and facilitates various technical support services in the preparation and submission of high-quality competitive applications:

  •   Researching and identifying potential grant funding sources
  •   Interpretation of grant guidelines
  •   Communicating with funding sources to improve chance of receiving funds
  •   Maintaining data/statistics useful for grant proposals
  •   Reviewing proposals for clarity
  •   Assistance in the preparation of the budget and budget narrative
  •   Helping to organize proposals
  •   Support for school-level liaisons
  •   Information on monitoring and managing grants
  •   Editing and formatting of proposals
  •   Securing and attaching of assurances, signatures, and cover letters

The mission of the Grant Management Office is to assist the schools and departments in acquiring supplemental funding to enhance the educational programs of the district.
