Official SAT Practice With Khan Academy

Khan Academy Banner
The School District of Osceola County is ranked number 1 in the nation for percentage of students linked to Khan Academy and College Board!

Khan Academy has recently partnered with College Board to provide students with a free world class resource to help them prep for the SAT. When students take the PSAT/NMSQT or PSAT 8/9, their scores will be linked to the Khan Academy SAT prep site and they will receive personalized practice as item-level data from students’ PSAT/NMSQT or PSAT 8/9 to generate specific practice recommendations based on an actual exam taken under test-like conditions. Which means…students will practice on skills they need to be successful in the SAT. Students are highly encouraged to utilize this FREE Resource to increase SAT scores, which may lead to college acceptances and scholarship opportunities! Log on to https://www.khanacademy.org/sat.

The Osceola School District and partners launch community early-learning Osceola Reads initiative

Osceola Reads is a five-year reading initiative aimed at increasing the literacy rate throughout the County. Currently, only 13% of Kindergartners in Osceola County are prepared for their first day of school. Teachers are spending their time catching students up rather than teaching them to read. We aim to change that with Footsteps2Brilliance.

Footsteps2Brilliance is a mobile tech platform that uses the latest in cognitive research to aid early learning development. The interactive app digitally links home and the school, allowing children to have a curriculum-based Pre-K education anywhere. Every child in Osceola County has access to Footsteps2Brilliance!
