The Lincoln Electric Company, headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, is the sole developer and manufacturer of the Lincoln Electric Power Wave 300C Advanced Model welder. The innovative Power Wave 300C Advance Model includes a number of unique, and in many cases patented features which are described below in detail:
Support for ALL welding processes including DC+, DC- and AC SMAW (E6010, E6013, E7018, E7024), DC- and AC GTAW (Steel, Stainless, Aluminum, Magnesium), FCAW (Gas-shielded and Self-shielded), GMAW (Short Arc, Axial Spray, Advanced Pulse modes including RapidArc®, RapidX®, Low Fume Pulse™, and STT®) for Steel, Stainless and Aluminum.
• 300 Amp @ 100% Duty Cycle rating for all processes to ensure uninterrupted performance, regardless of the process or application.
• High resolution 7” LCD display for easy operator use and process selection. In addition, the display features the patented ArcFX® function which simulates in real-time the impact of changes to settings to the welding arc.
• Powered by Lincoln Electric’s PowerConnect® Technology, the unit supports a wide input voltage range from 200 – 600V, single phase (208/230V) and three phase, without compromising arc quality. This feature is especially important in welding schools and other facilities where the input power requirements may be limited or fluctuate due to demand on the system.
• Ready-to-Run™ Design features for simple and straightforward operation, including cable management hooks and integrated cart with tilting bottle rack for improved safety and area cleanliness.
• 115V Auxiliary Power option provides 115V for power tools etc and features Lincoln Electric’s patented Surge Blocker™ Technology to ensure that welding performance is never compromised while using auxiliary power.
• Standard Ethernet network connectivity supports provides access to Lincoln Electric’s leading CheckPoint® cloud-based monitoring solution without additional hardware or costs.
• Lincoln Electric’s optional Weld Sequencer™ solution provides support for using predefined WPS’s, visual work instructions, and other capabilities to aid in production and education. (functionality to be made available in late 2021 via a software update)
The Power Wave® 300C Advanced model provides a flexible and capable solution for education. This one welder provides support for all the welding processes, allows instructors to teach advanced waveforms that students will likely encounter in the professional space, and even become exposed to Industry 4.0 and data trends in the welding industry. All of these capabilities are delivered in a compact package, with a focus on ease-of-use, along with cable management and other features for increased safety and cleanliness in the welding booth.
