Social Media & Website

While there is no replacing your school or department’s best assets—your team—when your team isn’t available, the next best thing someone could stumble upon (or go searching for with intent) is your website or social media channels.  A person's hands hold a smartphone with social media icons floating above it.

Social Media

In the Osceola School District, we encourage the use of social media for schools, departments, and even clubs and/or teachers. What you’re doing at your schools and in your classrooms needs to be shared with the world.

To get started with social media, please download and fill out this form and email it to our social media specialist, Janae Muchmore at janae.muchmore@osceolaschools.net

Once Janae receives it, she’ll reach out to get you set up. Please don’t set up anything on your own.

The district’s approved social media sites are:

Social Media and Storytelling

You have a story to tell. There are great things happening in the Osceola School District. When you share your school or department’s stories on social media, you are sharing them with the world.

Things to remember:

  • Always be positive and helpful. As a district employee, you are an ambassador of our brand.
  • Use social media to build, manage, and maintain positive relationships with parents, the community, and stakeholders.
  • Read and understand the rules outlined in the Osceola School District’s Social Media Disclaimer and Guidelines, not only for the posts you establish on your social media channels, but for monitoring posts by others to your social media pages, too.
