Early Childhood VPK Intranet

Welcome to the Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) Program with the School District of Osceola County! We are excited to partner with families and support children as they begin their early learning journey.

VPK is a FREE program for Florida children who turn 4 years old on or before September 1. The School District of Osceola County offers VPK at select school locations, with limited enrollment available.

Families whose children have birthdays between February 2 and September 1 may choose to enroll their child in VPK at age 4 or wait until the following year. This flexibility allows families to choose the option that best supports their child’s readiness and success.

VPK is a wonderful opportunity for children to build confidence, develop important early learning skills, and prepare for a successful start to kindergarten. We look forward to welcoming your child to one of our SDOC VPK classrooms!
