Welcome to Records Management

Mission:  The Records Management Department provides guidance on records management for the District, including managing the retention and secure destruction of records that are eligible for disposition.  Our Department is responsible for processing transcript and diploma requests for students and storing Student Records for students that have left the District five years or more.  Our Department also processes District forms through Forms Control. 

Vision: We are committed to providing high quality, responsive customer service to all District stakeholders, including parents, students, taxpayers, employees and members of the public.

TRANSCRIPTS

 

The School District of Osceola only maintains records for public schools. Our office provides transcripts for students that have left the District.  The transcript fee is $5 per request.  Transcripts are accepted by Colleges, Universities and most employers and are processed within five business days.  Please check before ordering if an official sealed transcript is required, as it can only be mailed. 

 

Current students requesting transcripts and parents requiring withdrawal documents must contact the School directly.

 

Charter and private school records must be requested from the individual school attended. 

 

GED transcripts and diplomas must be obtained from the Florida Department of Education.

 

If you are unsure if your school is an Osceola County public school, please contact us before completing the form and paying the fee.  Payments are non-refundable

 

After submission of the completed form and the information verified during business hours, the link for payment will be sent within 24 hours from MySchoolBucks and is active for one week.  If payment is not received during this time frame, your request will be closed.

 

If you require any other documents from your student file, please contact our office at Records@osceolaschools.net and we will provide instructions.

COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY, SECONDARY EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS AND MILITARY ORGANIZATIONS

 

For requests being submitted directly FROM Colleges, Universities, Secondary Educational Institutions and Military Organizations please click on the link below.  The fee for the request is $5 and is non-refundable.  Please ensure that the student attended a Public School in Osceola County.   The School District of Osceola County does not maintain transcripts for Charter or Private schools or General Education Diplomas (GED). After submission of the completed form and the information verified during business hours, the link for payment will be sent within 24 hours from MySchoolBucks and is active for one week.  If payment is not received during this time frame, your request will be closed.

EDUCATION VERIFICATION COMPANIES

 

For requests being submitted directly from Education Verification Companies please click on the link below.  The fee for the request is $25 and is non-refundable.  Please ensure that the student attended a Public School in Osceola County.  The School District of Osceola County does not maintain transcripts for Charter or Private schools or General Education Diplomas (GED).  Requests are processed within five business days. After submission of the completed form and the information verified during business hours, the link for payment will be sent within 24 hours from MySchoolBucks and is active for one week.  If payment is not received during this time frame, your request will be closed.   Please note that we do not click on Third Party Links.

DIPLOMAS

 

Replacement diplomas are available for public schools only.  The cost is $65 and the Diploma can take up to 6-12 weeks to process.  Please verify that your school or employer requires a diploma or a transcript prior to ordering as the fee is non-refundable. After submission of the completed form, the link for payment will be sent from Records@osceolaschools.net and is active for one week.  If payment is not received during this time frame, your request will be closed.

FORMS CONTROL

 

Departments requiring guidance on Forms Control can locate the Forms Control manual in SDOC Resources via Classlink under Records Department Resources. If guidance is needed, please contact our office.  Forms are generally processed within one week after receiving all required documents.

 

PUBLIC RECORDS

 

For information regarding Public Records, please contact the District’s Community Relations Office

Under Florida law, email addresses are public records.  If you do not want your email address released in response to a public records request, do not send electronic mail to this entity.  Instead, contact this office in writing.

Transcripts will be processed up until 15 minutes before closing time.
