Opportunities for students will be targeted toward the program of study at The Osceola Business Academy.  Internship opportunities will develop students' 21st-century skills to prepare students for career readiness.

oTECH Summer Boot Camp

  • The purpose of the career explorer program is to provide the target audience with an introduction to Osceola Technical College and share information regarding program offerings available on our 3  campuses. Through self discovery, students will be afforded the opportunity to investigate their interests, strengths and personal values that align with their educational and career goals. Students will follow a weekly schedule rotating though a series of programs to gain a perspective of o-Tech's offerings. Students will earn a stipend of up to $1200 provided by Career Source for participating. *Transportation not provided.*

  • The purpose of this collaborative partnership summer boot camp is that secondary students completing the health science core, will not have to repeat the core in any other health science program in which it is a part.  When the recommended sequence is followed, the structure allows students to complete at specified points for employment or remain for advanced training or cross-training.  Students will earn an industry certification in Basic Life Support & Basic First Aid certification. Students will earn a stipend of up to $1200 from Career Source for participating. *No transportation provided.*

  • The purpose of this summer boot camp is to provide students with the opportunity to earn an industry certification that will lead to a high skill, high wage career in the IT industry. Students will be exposed to the internal assets and soft skills needed in order to gain and keep employment. They will understand the impact of choices, develop a sense of confidence and the continual desire to improve as well as putting forth their best effort and work. Students will earn the CompTIA A+ certification. Students will also earn a stipend of up to $1200 from Career Source for participating. *No transportation provided.*
