21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC)

21st Century Community Learning Centers

The 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) program provides students with meaningful opportunities to learn, grow, and succeed beyond the school day. Through this federally funded initiative, students participate in engaging afterschool and summer programs that support academic achievement, creativity, leadership, and personal development in a safe and supportive environment.

Students receive homework help, tutoring, literacy and math support, and hands-on enrichment experiences including STEAM, robotics, coding, arts and music, health and wellness, sports, leadership development, and career exploration. Family engagement is also a key component, with opportunities for parents and caregivers to participate in workshops, family nights, student showcases, and community events.

The program serves students in grades K–5 and operates Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 3:25 PM to 6:25 PM, August through May, aligned with the school district calendar. Services include academic intervention, small-group instruction, enrichment activities, wellness programming, and family engagement designed to strengthen student achievement, attendance, behavior, and overall engagement in learning.🌟📚🚀
